Mini Strudel with Apples and Pine Nuts

Ingredients:

  • Filo dough 120 g
  • Pears 1 piece
  • Apple 2 pieces
  • Butter 40 g
  • Sugar 50 g
  • Honey 20 g
  • Pine nuts 50 g
  • Breadcrumbs 20 g

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 390 F. In a dry frying pan fry the nuts for 2-3 minutes and transfer to a  plate. In the same pan, melt half (about 1 tablespoon) of butter and pour into separate cup.
  2. Peel apples and pears and remove seeds, cut into small cubes, fry with the remaining butter and sugar for about 5-7 minutes, remove the heat, add breadcrumbs, honey, nuts and mix.
  3. Lay out the sheets of filo dough, put on every 2-3 tablespoons of the filling, roll up the tube, twisting the ends. Grease the finished rolls with melted butter.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes and then oil again while hot.
